


West Roxbury youths between the ages of 6 and 13 are invited to compete in the first ever Tobin-Connolly Summer Games on Tuesday, August 11 at Catholic Memorial High School, 235 Baker St., West Roxbury starting at 10 a.m.
District 6 City Councilor John M. Tobin and At-Large City Councilor John Connolly are sponsoring the free event. The games will include races, a free throw basketball-shooting contest, and a longest football punt, pass, and kick competition. Participants will be separated into appropriate age divisions for each event. The games will be followed by a barbeque picnic and awards ceremony from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
